Common questions
How Fast We Get to You
How fast can you get here?
On-site in 30 minutes guaranteed. Drains rarely pick a convenient moment to give up, so we don't wait around either. Ring (02) 9023 2062 and a plumber is on the way immediately, day or night.
What counts as a drain emergency?
Sewage rising back up, water pooling round the house, or a toilet that simply won't clear are all urgent to us. Anything stopping you from using the house safely counts.
What happens after I call?
A real plumber picks up, not a recording. We ask a few questions, get someone moving your way, and hold off starting any work until you've signed off on the quote.
How do I book online?
Fill out the form on this site, note the $50 online-booking discount, and a team member locks in a time. Same 30-minute guarantee applies whether you rang or booked online.
Common questions
Pricing and Offers
What does "$50 off when you book online" cover?
Booking through the website instead of phoning saves you $50 off the total job cost. Your free quote still happens first, so there's nothing to lose by booking that way.
Is the quote really free?
Completely. We look at the drain, explain the cause, and write up a number with zero pressure to say yes. Walk away and you've paid nothing.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Never. $0 call-out on every single visit, big job or small. You're paying for the work done, not for us showing up.
How do quotes work?
We open the drain up, work out what's actually wrong, and price the job before any tools come out. Say yes and that's the price you pay, nothing added later.
Common questions
The Belrose Questions
What suburbs do you service?
Belrose is on our regular run, and we're just as often working Frenchs Forest, Davidson, Forestville, St Ives and Allambie Heights. Don't see your street here? Ring and ask anyway.
Do tree roots really get into pipes here?
Constantly. The bushland edge along Garigal National Park means roots are always searching for moisture. Old clay sewer joints give them an easy way in.
Do you know Belrose's pipe stock?
Well. Most of the suburb was built through the 1960s on brick-veneer, generous blocks, with clay drainage still running under a lot of them. The same failure points turn up house after house.
Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?
Yes, on top of the detached houses that make up most of Belrose. Shared lines through a townhouse complex get quoted and cleared exactly the same way as a single house.
Common questions
Whose Drain Is It, and Who Can Touch It
Are you licensed and insured?
NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, Master Plumber accredited, and $20 million in public liability cover. Happy to show the licence on-site if you want to see it.
What is an overflow relief gully and why does it matter?
It's the grated fitting near your house designed to stop sewage backing up inside during a blockage. Bubbling or overflowing there means the system is doing its job, and it's time to call.
Do wipes really block drains?
Every time, even ones marked flushable on the packet. They hold together instead of dissolving, and we pull them out of blocked lines constantly.
What warranty do I get?
Every job carries a lifetime labour warranty. If something's not right afterwards, we're back out at no charge, no argument.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
A plunger is fine for a simple sink or toilet clog. Chemical cleaners and hired drain eels can crack old clay pipe though, and any real drainage work in NSW legally needs a licensed plumber.
